Abstract
In La cretation du monde ou la mondaliasation, Jean-Luc Nancy defines agglomeration as something opposed to the world (monde): the filthy (in-monde). In order to do that, he analyses a passage of Marx and Engels The German Ideology, in which these two philosophers describe alienation (Ent-fremdung) as a form of estrangement that may become into an << unboreable power>> if there is no increase of productive forces, for this would create scarcity and one would fall back into << the same shit>> (ScheiJe) man want to escape from. We argue that the condition of life in the agglomeration is comparable to the punishment of estrangement, both with respect to the world (monde) and to social life. The estrangement is a sentence, without judge or court, that consists of inhabiting the becoming of the world towards the filthy, as a consequence of the universalization of the productive forces, production of abundance, excrement of products and moral and material misery. Our aim is to update the meaning of Entfremdung, beyond Die deutsche Ideologie and Nancy s interpretation of it.
