During the last decades it has been a fact that religious beliefs have taken part in public and political scenarios, which has led to several studies that explain the role of the actors and ideologies involved. However, despite the contribution of these studies from a macro point of view, in comparison there has been less analysis from a micro point of view. This research aims to explore the relationship between religion and politics taking the case of the party militancy of evangelicals in Chile, from a lived religion perspective. This research wants to understand the nuances, tensions and questions of the Evangelicals believers involved in political activity at an individual level. © 2024, Editora Universitaria da PUCRS.
